Three talented people will earn cash awards at this year's Cheese Festival with the "Monroe Idol" contest.

A competition for vocalists will be held. Each singer, or singing group, will perform one song and then a panel of judges will select the finalists.

After each finalist has performed, the judges will select a champion on the basis of crowd applause.

You must register at Village Hall before the day of the Cheese Festival in order to perform. The contest will begin at 4pm on that day.
