A competition for vocalists will be held. Each singer, or singing group, will perform one song and then a panel of judges will select the finalists. After each finalist has performed, the judges will select a champion on the basis of crowd applause. That person will win $250 and be crowned the Monroe Idol. The runner-up will receive $150 and the entertainer in third place will get $100. You must register at Village Hall before the day of the Cheese Festival in order to perform. The contest will begin at 5pm on that day.
